| Article: | Join Dr. Bobby Jones/New Vision Productions and the Nashville Super Choir will be at Jazz & Jokes located at 174 3rd Avenue North on Sunday, October 21 for an afternoon of great food and music. The event is from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and doors will open at 1:30 pm. Cost to the event is $25 or adults and $15 for children. “We are pleased to offer an additional choice of music to the downtown tourist community, “said Dr. Jones.” “Gospel music and its artists have had major influences in pioneering and creating the Nashville Sound that has entitled us to being named Music City,” he added. A pioneer in the in Gospel music, Jones has produced programs for Black Entertainment (BET) since 1980. His shows figure prominently in the channel's Sunday lineup, consistently ranking in the Top 5 of overall BET weekly programming. In addition to his work for BET, Jones has produced and hosted a programs on other networks in addition to Nashville's public television outlet. He has also authored several books.
